چکیده

Purpose: To investigate the effect of microRNA-612 (miR-612) on human colon cancer cells, and mechanism involved.
Methods: Expressions miR-612 GPR132 were determined by quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR)el , while cell viability was evaluated using counting kit-8 (CCK8) colony formation assays. Dual luciferase assay used to determine interaction between GPR132, migration invasion measured Transwell assay.
Results: The expression levels in tissues lines significantly down-regulated (p < 0.05). Overexpression cells led significant inhibition their proliferation formation. assays revealed that overexpression markedly stopped migration, epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition.
Conclusion: These results indicate exerts anti-cancer suppressing at translational level. vitro tumor suppressive activity against reveals its potential for management cancer.

NDRG2 Regulates the Expression of Genes Involved in Epithelial Mesenchymal Transition of Prostate Cancer Cells
Background: Metastasis is the main cause of prostate cancer (PCa) death. The inhibitory effect of N-myc downstream-regulated gene 2 (NDRG2) on the invasiveness properties of PCa cells has been demonstrated previously. However, its underlying mechanisms have not yet been investigated. The present study aimed to investigate the effects of NDRG2 overexpression on the expression of genes involved i...
متن کاملMesenchymal Stem Cells Trigger Epithelial to Mesenchymal Transition in the HT-29 Colorectal Cancer Cell Line
Background and Objective: Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) promote metastasis in colorectal cancer; however, the mechanism underlying this process is not fully understood. Epithelial to mesenchymal transition (EMT) is a key step in tumor acquisition of metastatic phenotype. We aimed to investigate the effect of MSCs on the expression of EMT markers, as well as cancer stem cell markers in HT-29 col...
متن کاملG-protein Coupled Receptor Dimerization
A growing body of evidence suggests that GPCRs exist and function as dimers or higher oligomers. The evidence for GPCR dimerization comes from biochemical, biophysical and functional studies. In addition, researchers have shown the occurrence of heterodimerization between different members of the GPCR family. Two receptors can interact with each other to make a dimer through their extracellular...
متن کاملMicroRNA-124 regulates TGF-α-induced epithelial-mesenchymal transition in human prostate cancer cells.
Transforming growth factor-α (TGF-α) is upregulated in advanced stages of prostate cancer and strongly correlated with metastasis. However, the effect of TGF-α on epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) in prostate cancer and the underlying mechanisms remain unclear. Recently, microRNAs have emerged as new regulators of EMT. This study found that treatment of DU145 cells with TGF-α suppressed t...
متن کاملEpithelial to mesenchymal transition concept in Cancer: Review article
Owing to this fact that most of the mortalities in cancers are as a result of metastasis, study on the involved pathways in metastasis including Epithelial to mesenchymal transition (EMT) would be so critical and important. Up to date, several extensive studies have been carried out to determine the correlation between EMT and cancer and their results have shown that the EMT plays pivotal role ...
